Our conventional style buildings are for those who desire a building constructed on a concrete foundation with studded interior walls. The standard for a conventional building is setting the trusses 2 foot on center and studded walls 16 inches on center. The following diagram details each component we include for a basic conventional building:
- 24 x 8″ Concrete footing with 1/2″ rebar
- 3 Rows of 8″ concrete blocks
- Treated 2 x 8″ plate on top of blocks
- 2 x 4″ Studs-16″ on center
- 7/16″ OSB on sides
- 5/8″ OSB for the roof decking
- Plywood clips between the trusses
- 15 lb. Felt paper
- 25-Year, 3-tab shingles
- 1′ Overhang-closed-in
- Vinyl siding
